Ruebner Honored by Arab-American Groups

Josh Ruebner was presented with a Community Service Award at the 22nd annual Virginia Candidates’ Night, sponsored by the Arab-American Republicans of the Washington D.C. Area and the Arab-American Democratic Caucus Virginia and held Oct. 10 in Tysons Corner.

Ruebner is national advocacy director for the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, a group that is working to end Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. The areas were won by the Israelis during the 1967 Six-Day War.

Ruebner was twice a candidate for County Board and once for the 47th House of Delegates, all under the Green Party banner.
